Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of VideoRapid at videorapid.com (the "service"), a web application that produces videos from prompts, scripts and files you provide. By creating an account or buying credits you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for all activity on it. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. Keep your Google account secure; we are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised access to it.

2. Credits and payment

  • Videos are paid for with prepaid credits. Prices, credit amounts and per-minute costs are shown on the pricing page and in the estimate before production starts.
  • All purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Nothing renews automatically.
  • Production starts only when your balance covers the estimate plus a safety margin. Credits are reserved at the start; credits the finished video does not use are returned to your balance.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or resold and expire 365 days after your most recent purchase.
  • Pack benefits (better top-up rate, parallel videos, queue priority) last for the period shown with the pack.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with the acceptable use and content policy. You may not reverse engineer the service, circumvent credit or rate limits, resell access, or use it to process content you have no right to use.

4. Your content and the videos

You keep all rights to the prompts, scripts and files you upload, and you own the videos produced for you, including for commercial use. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content only to provide the service. Third-party material inside a video (stock footage, Creative Commons works, fonts, music) stays under its own licence, listed in the license report delivered with each video.

If you enable web images, those images belong to their owners. They are shown briefly with their source, and you alone are responsible for whether your use is permitted where you publish.

5. AI generated output

Scripts, voices and images are produced by automated systems and third-party AI providers. We run fact and language checks, but output can still contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing every video before publishing it, especially on medical, legal, financial or news topics.

6. Files and availability

Finished files are kept for 7 days and then deleted. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific delivery times or that every third-party provider remains available.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its software, design and brand are owned by VideoRapid and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These terms do not grant you any rights in them beyond using the service.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue from a channel, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from your content, the videos you publish or your breach of these terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the content policy. Credits on accounts closed for a breach are not refunded.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days notice by email or on the site before they take effect.
