Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data VideoRapid collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account data from Google sign-in: name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID.
- Content you submit: prompts, scripts, uploaded files, channel profiles and the videos we produce.
- Payment data: purchases are processed by Stripe. We store the amount, credits, invoice number and a Stripe customer reference. We never see or store card numbers or CVC codes.
- Support messages you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, log entries and timestamps needed for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.
2. How we use it
To run the service and produce your videos, process payments, send the emails you choose (video ready, receipts, low balance), answer support requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell, trade or rent personal data.
3. Who processes it for us
- AI and search providers: to produce a video, your prompt and script are sent to language, voice, transcription, image and video models and to search services for research and visuals. They process the data on our behalf to return results.
- Stripe for payments and Google for sign-in.
- Email providers for transactional emails.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. API keys and credentials are stored encrypted. Access to servers and data is restricted to people who need it to run the service.
5. Retention
Finished video files are deleted after 7 days and uploaded source files a few days after production ends. Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and as long as tax law requires.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to processing and opt out of marketing emails at any time in your account settings. Write to privacy@videorapid.com from your account email; we respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms. See the cookie policy.
8. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the providers above. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.
